I was fortunate to be invited to the LeGrand Pioneer Heritage Library and the Gilman Public Library on Monday, April 21, to share my debut novel and to speak about my self-publishing journey.
The reception at both libraries was amazing! I met some great people, chatted with some old acquaintances, and had an overall splendid time. Stacia Foster and Cameron Foster were wonderful hosts.
Getting to read from my debut novel at the Gilman Public Library was a real full-circle moment for me. I spent my childhood at that library (well, the old library, that is), selecting stories to get lost in, listening to books on tape - a real treat for me as a youngster - and attending events like Girl Scout meetings in the basement. The new library is a wonderful upgrade, and it was a real treat to explore the space after my reading!
My heart is full from the support shown to me at both of these events! Thank you to all who attended!
